The Latin Bridge in Sarajevo where Archduke Franz Ferdinand and his wife Sophie Duchess of Hohenberg were assassinated in June 1914 - often described as one of the key events which led to World War I. Sarajevo Bobsled Track, Bosnia. Built for the 1984 Winter Olympics at a cost of $8,500,000 it has fallen into disrepair and is now home to more bears than bobsleighs… The track is 1300m long and has a vertical drop in metres which is 10 times the number of corners, and 10% of the total length. How many corners are there? #tomrocksmaths #bobsled #sarajevo
