I loved football stickers as a kid, so it was an incredible amount of fun to apply some Maths to work out the most efficient way to complete the @Topps Euro 2024 album. COME AND WORK WITH ME!! I’m excited to take the next step with Tom Rocks Maths as I begin building a team to bring my enthusiasm for maths to the world. The ‘Social Media Assistant’ role is ideally suited to a student or someone starting out on their social media journey, but as the first official member of the TRM team the opportunity for progression is pretty much unlimited. Initially I expect there to be ~10 hours per week as you help to manage the Tom Rocks Maths accounts on IG, X and Facebook, as well as launching the TikTok channel. I had far too much fun talking all things Maths and @pokemon last night @cheltcollege. Thank you to all the students for coming along and excellent work with the catch formula - I think that’s the first time we’ve ever caught all 3 Pokémon with only 3 attempts! The 3rd photograph from the ‘Tattooed Academics’ exhibition @royalmuseumsgreenwich focuses on my favourite equation - Navier-Stokes. This was the first of my mathematical tattoos and has become famous in its own right after being featured in my first video for @numberphile_official.
