Complete The Topps EURO 2024™ Sticker Collection For Under £100

Dr. Tom Crawford has crunched the numbers to find the most efficient way to complete your Topps UEFA EURO 2024™ sticker collection this summer!

The one and only official UEFA EURO 2024™ sticker collection from Topps is out now!

LONDON – APRIL 27, 2024. Oxford University maths genius Dr Tom Crawford has revealed collectors can complete their Topps Euro 2024 sticker collection for less than £100 by following his unique method.

Topps, the premier collectibles brand of Fanatics Collectibles and the official trading cards and stickers provider for UEFA EURO 2024™, released its long-awaited UEFA EURO 2024™ sticker collection earlier this month.

Since then, Topps provided Dr Tom Crawford, a mathematics teacher at the University of Oxford who has amassed millions of views solving maths problems on YouTube, with an exclusive sneak peek at how the Topps Euro 2024 sticker packs are configured. Crawford has devised the easiest and cheapest method for collectors to complete the sticker book this summer.

His method estimates you only require a maximum of 100 packs to complete the UEFA EURO 2024™ sticker collection. From the 100 packs, fans are likely to collect a significant number of ‘rares’ such as the gold, green or purple parallel stickers. Swapping these rare stickers efficiently for other regular stickers, will enable you to complete your collection for £100 or less.

The parallel stickers are rarer than other stickers so Crawford concludes these hold greater value, and suggests you swap these higher-value stickers for more regular stickers. He estimates one green parallel could be worth at least 600 regulars, so obtaining one of these early on could help you complete it even more easily.

As Dr Tom’s method relies on obtaining rare parallel stickers, he recommends purchasing the ‘Mega Eco Boxes’ as they contain multiple rare stickers to supercharge your collection – and if you pack more rares than expected, it could be even cheaper.

Combining Dr Tom’s method with the well-known system of swapping your duplicate stickers with your mates for the ones you need should allow everyone to complete their collection for less than £100.

Explaining the rationale for his game-changing method, Dr Tom Crawford said: “Swapping parallels for regulars is the most efficient method if your sole objective is to complete your collection the fastest – while the rare stickers look cool, they won’t help you get the random defender you’ve been searching for all summer.

“The theory suggests that it will take 100 packs to complete the collection, but if you get lucky with your parallels you could complete it even quicker!

“Combining my love for maths with my lifelong passion for collecting stickers has been a very satisfying task, and I hope people will take inspiration from my method to complete their sticker books in the most efficient way possible. So get swapping!”

Patrick Rausch, Chief Marketing Officer EMEA of Fanatics Collectibles and Topps, added: “Collecting stickers is for everyone and is ingrained in football culture around big tournaments. We’re delighted to be bringing fans the official UEFA EURO 2024sticker collection, and Dr Tom’s research offers some efficient tips and tricks to help fans complete their collection this summer. For much of our community, swapping stickers is a fundamental part of collecting, so it is great to see Tom’s maths prove this method and shed light on how best to go about swapping stickers to complete your collection.”

As well as working out the most efficient way to complete your collection, Dr Tom worked out that recent Euro 2024 play-off winners Georgia, Poland and Ukraine are the three hardest teams to complete.

Crawford also determined that if you collected the gold one-of-one Cristiano Ronaldo, arguably the most valuable sticker in the collection, you could swap for enough stickers to complete the collection over 150 times!

The sticker collection launched earlier this month with sticker-obsessed broadcasting duo Roman Kemp and Chris Stark featuring in a tongue-in-cheek viral #WeAllSticker video as the latest activity in Topps’ UEFA EURO 2024™campaign, which has also featured adverts with Jose Mourinho, a giant mosaic of Scotland captain Andy Robertson made from over 5,000 Topps UEFA EURO 2024™Match Attax trading cards, and content from multiple creators, ambassadors and footballing royalty.

The Topps UEFA EURO 2024™ stickers are available from all good retailers and from Topps.com as single packets (£1), starter packs containing the album and 24 stickers (£5.99), eco packs and multipacks (£6.99), starter tins (£9.99), mega eco boxes (£14.99) and 100-pack display boxes (£100).
