Join me (Tom) to help take maths learning to a new level as part of the Tom Rocks Maths team! This is the first time I’m hiring someone so is a real opportunity to become an integral part of the operation as it continues to grow. 

Your main role will be to manage content on Instagram and TikTok. For Instagram this will consist of uploading posts repurposing content from tomrocksmaths.com, as well as creating reels from content on the Tom Rocks Maths YouTube channel. You will also assist in the scheduling of the usual daily post, as well as managing comments and messages. 

On TikTok you will be entirely in charge! The @tomrocksmaths account exists and is ready to go, but as of yet has no content. As with the IG reels, repurposing content from YouTube and tomrocksmaths.com would be an excellent place to start, with the hope that as the following grows you will be able to create your own original content under my guidance. 

This will be an hourly paid role, and to begin I expect there to be approximately 10 hours of work per week. As the following on both platforms grows the number of hours will increase accordingly. There is also the potential for further work related to content and brand management, as well as video editing, on the longer term horizon. 

I am still finalising the budget I have available for this, but I expect it to be on the order of £10-12 per hour, and therefore is likely more suited to a student or someone early in their career – although applications from seasoned professionals are of course very welcome! 

You will be paid monthly via direct bank transfer on submission of a timesheet and invoice. You will be responsible for taxes etc.
