IOP Early Career Physics Communicator Award

Back in 2018, Tom was a finalist in the Institute of Physics (IOP) Early Career Physics Communicator Award, which recognises the contributions of early career researchers to science communication. As part of the event, he performed a live version of his hit video ‘Equations Stripped: Navier-Stokes’ at the IOP headquarters in London. Unfortunately, the event wasn’t recorded, but you can watch the original version on YouTube below.

The 2020/21 award is currently open for submissions with full details on the IOP website here.

“Physics teaches young people to understand and solve complex problems. Not just on paper. Not just in theory. The kind of problems that exist everywhere in the world, waiting to be solved. There are no limits to what can be achieved with physics.” (IOP)

The closing date is Thursday 18th February so get your entries in ASAP.
